Susan and David's home plus scenes from their back yard

Hello loyal follower(s)

From December 17 through December 29, Mr Nut took his pain pills  and waited for the call from the Spine Clinic of the University of California, San Francisco.  He walked a lot and took many pictures of the new home of Susan and David (S&D).  He sometimes walked about four miles because walking was the only activity that relieved the pain.

Dublin, California is a valley surrounded by hill.  Below are some photos taken from S & D's back yard.

This was taken from their back yard.  S&D used to live in the valley below in this picture.

Believe me walking up and down these hill was a challenge.

Looking across a valley to some other homes in the  hills.   Generally the views from their back yard were more than just great.  The view of all the lights at night marvelous.

The whole yard was landscaped in an oriental style. This was part of the back yard.

Again part of the back yard, with the two seats where S&D sit at night and enjoy the lights of the valley and of course enjoy some of their wine.

Another neat view of the raised walkways in the back yard.

Christmas as an informal affair since S&D had just moved into the home in October and with teaching etc. had little time to settle into their new home.  Think stress!

This is one of our sons William and our grandchild Caleb Moore.

Notice the ladder, S&D were trying to hang quilts that were designed as wall hangings.  More stress!

This is Cyndy and William.

This was the whole gang.  Unfortunately, with the stress of moving and trying to have a great Christmas weekend was too much for Susan.  Her Fiber Myalgia really acted up and thus she spent the day before Christmas in bed and Cynthia (Susan's daughter) and Cyndy did most of the cooking for the meal.

Mr Nut had much fun with his camera.

On December 29 we were told that the clinic would accept Mr Nut as a patient and we would see the doctor on Jan 12, 2012.  We were very excited that the end of our ordeal had an end date.  But within four hours were informed that the Jan 12th date was not available and the next appointment date would  be FEBRUARY 20, What a bummer.  Thus we returned to St George, Utah December 30-31 to wait out the time until Feb. 20.

Out of mercy, Mr Nut only printed some of the pictures.

À bientôt,
Mr Nut
