Merging to Tuna Sandwich recipes

from November 1, 2011

Hello loyal follower(s)
Mr Nut had his third and last injection of Cortisone on November 1, 2011.  He accidentally pulled out the needle that was supposed to give him some sedation during the procedure.   Since the Doctor was doing him a favor by sandwiching the procedure in between to scheduled operations, and to set up the sedation again would take another ten minutes or so, Mr Nut offered to forgo the sedation and bite a bullet instead.  Therefore, Mr Nut was clear headed and was able to drive home and be alert most of the day.
It was Cyndy idea for Mr Nut to make lunch (Tuna sandwiches) along with his commitment to bake Pub Burgers for the evening meal.  It was a busy day.  Cyndy saw the recipe for Tuna sandwiches that he was going to use, and insisted he use her recipe.  Cyndy’s recipe appeared in the old blog; thecrustydoughnut.blogspot.com.  The two recipes were almost identical.  The strong point in the non-Cyndy recipe was the onions were tamed down by microwaving them in oil, which made easier to digest.
Mr Nut also wanted to include the carbohydrate and calorie values.

These thin buns are not as good as  when they first came on the market.  They just fall apart when used for hamburgers.  But with these tuna sandwiches they still work well.

The sandwiches are loaded and ready for the top and aluminum foil wrap.

Twenty minutes in the Toaster-oven and it was lunch time.

The new revised recipe for Tuna Sandwiches can be found in the blog from May 26, 2011

À bientôt
Mr Nut
