Hello loyal follower(s)
Sorry to be so negligent, but may things were going on and there was little time to share my (mis)adventures.
Cyndy and I are now at our lake cabin in Minnesota. The heat wave that has gripped most of the country including our cabin area broke yesterday so the temperatures at our lake are back to normal for July (80’s with or without high humidity). In the last month the cabin area received over 20 inches of rain and our lake is at a historical high. As you can guess there are many mosquitoes horseflies. elephant flies and many different annoying biting bugs.
On the eleventh of June we left for California to help our daughter Susan and her fiance get ready for their wedding, which was on June 16th, 2012. The wedding was held at Susan and David’s home. There were about seventy guests plus many helpers and a live (very good) band. The band was so good I didn't even put in my earplugs. The party was fabulous, with barbecued ribs and other types of meat. It was a really a great party. By 9:30 PM the guests were dancing in the dining room (it has a wooden floor).
Me (Mr Nut) on the left looking over the setup for the ceremony plus two workers who were Susan's students in mathematics.
Waiting on the deck for all the guests to arrive and the marriage ceremony to begin.
There were about seventy guests.
The minister and Dave waiting for Susan to arrive. Notice the great view in the background. The backyard overlooks three valleys.
Let ceremony begin: Susan's two oldest children shown on the left, stood up for them.
They are James, and Cynthia Moore.
I do not enjoy crowds, thus Here I am behind the ceremony crowd.
Susan and David toasting after the ceremony. Again look at the great view they have from their backyard.

We stayed in California for several days for a final doctors appointment relative to my back surgery, then it was back to St George.
One week of event jammed week it was off to our cabin in Minnesota. That bring me to today, as we plan our events for July and August.
À bientôt
